Where Marcegaglia AdriatiCO2 Ravenna is
Marcegaglia AdriatiCO2 Ravenna is at Ravenna, Italy, and this register holds no position for it. The company has confirmed the site and no citable source places the works: it is being built where nobody has yet drawn it. The row is held anyway — position is not a condition of being on file — and what was searched, and what was found instead, is below.
NO POSITION SOUGHT BY THIS PASS. Brief 8 forbids geocoding in a census and position is not an admission leg.

- by 2026-09-09FundedADMITTED BY THE FUNDER AND SCORED IN THE CAPTURING SECTOR. “The project, led by Marcegaglia Ravenna S.p.A., aims to reduce CO2 emissions in the Ravenna industrial district through Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) technologies”, at EUR 31,238,542. The steel perimeter's fifth leg, ruled 20 September, holds capture on the emissions of an iron- or steelmaking works on the same footing as capture at a cement works. The owner leg is open: marcegaglia.com serves one identical body on every path (question S6) and an owner look is queued under rule 17.source
Technology and measures
- Carbon capture on blast-furnace gaspilotCO2 is separated from the gases a blast furnace gives off, which leaves the ironmaking route in place and treats its output instead. It is the competitor to conversion rather than a part of it: a site that captures keeps the asset it has, and a site that converts writes it off.
Funding
No public capital recorded for this project.
